The new way for insurance
Harel Insurance Company came out with an innovative business model in the car insurance field that allows its customers to pay for travel only.
A dedicated app was built for that purpose, which aims to serve as a tool for the customer - to mediate between the physical device that exists in the car and the user interface in order to give the customer an indication of his insurance, the monthly premium status and the payment tracking.
The Challenge
Customer Engagement
The challenge in the process was to create customer engagement for the app download, as the sign-up process does not require installing the app on the client's mobile device, plus the more significant challenge was to make the customer leave the app after the initial use on his device as it is different from a bank or health care application's username and need. Frequent and sometimes even daily.
The Vision
Magic Moments
In order to create value for customers, a wide range of actions was set to include reference to the customer's overall journey when driving the car, the relevant situations were identified and every situation were examinee the values, actions and information that can be provided to the customer to provide real-time response and create "magic moments" were defined.
My Role
I led the UX design wireframe flow and the UI visual design.
I worked alongside , Experience strategy team, Researcher, Project Managers, App Developers and QA.
The app launched on Apple App Store and Google play store.
Research & Study
On The Way To
We tested all situations, which are relevant to driving the car as part of the overall journey, and in each situation we looked at the most common actions. After examining different personalities, it is clear that each person behaves differently in the same situation.
For example: "A lightbulb alert" - there are people who prefer to get information about the problem and decide how to proceed compared to people who prefer to turn to road services, these differences are due to personal characteristics that vary between different people.

Empty car battery
User can suffer from a dead car battery for all sorts of reasons. That's why car batteries are the number one reason for calling detail services.
Warning lightbulb alert
Warning light suggests that you should act quickly because it always indicate the problem when it is serious, such as an overheating engine, low engine oil pressure or a braking system problem.
Car puncture/Flat tire
Flat tire situation almost always happens by surprise.
Empty fuel
Empty fuel warning light indicate that the tank is almost completely empty,
